Recipes:
Frozen Fruit Margarita: 4 Servings
- 4 cups frozen strawberries (or frozen mango chunks)
- 1 cup (8oz's) Tequila
- 1/2 cup (4oz's) Triple Sec or Grand Marnier
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (optional add more to taste)
- 2-3 cups ice cubes
- Margarita salt and lime wedges for the rim (optional)
Instructions:
1. Rim the Glasses: Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glasses and dip them into a small plate of rimmer.
2. Blend: Add all ingredients to a high powered blender.
3. Mix: Blend until smooth and slushy.
4. Adjust: Taste and add more sweetener or tequila if needed.
5. Serve: Pour immediately into prepared glasses and garnish with a fresh strawberry or lime wheel.
Paloma:
- 2 oz's Tequila
- 2 oz's fresh grapefruit juice, plus wedges for garnish
- 2 oz's sparkling water
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/4 oz agave nectar or simple syrup, or to taste
- Rimmer
- Ice
Instructions:
1. Salt the rim of the glass by rubbing a grapefruit wedge around the edge and dipping it onto a small plate of rimmer.
2. Mix the tequila, grapefruit juice, sparkling water, lime juice, and agave nectar into the glass. Fill the remainder of the glass with ice. Adjust sweetness to taste. Garnish with a grapefrut wedge.
Salty Dog:
- 1 1/2 oz's Gin or Vodka
- 3 oz's grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed
- Rimmer
- grapefruit slice for garnish
Instructions:
1. Wet the rim of a highball glass and dip it in the rimmer.
2. Fill the glass with ice, then add the gin (or vodka) and grapefruit juice and stir gently to combine.
3. Garnish with a grapefruit slice.
Tequila Sunrise:
- 2 oz's Tequila
- 4 oz's orange juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/4 oz Grenadine
- Garnish: orange slice and cherry
Instructions:
1. Add the tequila and then he orange juice to a chilled highball glass filled with ice.
2. Top with the grenadine, which will sink to the bottom of the glass, creating a layered effect.
3. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.
